Mothers Union - Builth Wells Branch meeting
5th April saw a successful Mothers Union Builth Branch meeting in Glandwr Parc. Branch leader organised for Mrs Janet Day the Licensed Lay Minister to share with the group the Lenten Talk delivered in St Marys Church by Dr Mark Clavier the new Residentiary Canon at Brecon Cathedral. The Lenten address was full of reflections on simple things in creation such as Water, Bread, Wine, etc which are all around us in our church worship but also around us when we are out and about in our rural location. He urged us all to be grounded in and around nature, also with one another and to see God in many things. The branch enjoyed a time of prayer and refreshments. They were also very grateful to a new member who generously had embroidered the Mothers Union logo onto table cloths. These are used monthly in St Marys church to serve teas and coffee from allowing for a time of fellowship after the family service.
