Celebration Service on Easter Day led by Rev Coralie McCluskey
This service was supported by a wonderful choir and a large congregation who were all there not only to celebrate the Risen Christ but to add thanks and praise to Coralie. She has served in Builth Wells Group of Church tirelessly over the last year. She retired to Builth Wells with her husband Ralph and Winnie the Jack Russel awhile ago. Little did she know that she would be taken out of retirement and plunged into action to help out with our church services. We are extremely grateful to Coralie for all she has done for us, her charm, wit and enthusiasm are just some of the gifts she shared with us. We look forward to having her with us in the congregation as she is very much part of the community of Builth Wells. Doug Wellstead, church warden, presented Coralie with a large plant for her future garden, her husband Ralph is renovating a house for them in Builth Wells. Also a donation from the congregation towards taking Ralph out to dinner by way of extra thanks for lending Coralie to us so many times. Additonally, the sister churches of Llandew'r Cwm and Maesmynis offered gifts of thanks and gratitude. Many people stayed on to enjoy hospitality, refreshments and fellowship after the service.
