John the Baptist

All are welcome /to join us for what is one of the oldest festivals of the Christian Church. First mentioned as being celebrated in 506AD the church has commemorated the birth of John the Baptist for over 1500 years.  Normally, the church celebrates a Saint on the day he died.  However, John the Baptist is the only Saint that we remember on his birthday.
